This IPA keyboard allows you to type in English words when they appear in English.

1. After copying the text from the box above and pasting it into a word processor or email, be sure to select a Unicode font with ISO in your word processor or email. Otherwise, the acoustic characters may not be displayed correctly.
2. Recommended ISO fonts are available on various platforms:
3. Windows: Sigma Camber, Liberia, Al Dumines, Romania, Oklahoma, or Lucinda Sanxine Unicode (incomplete)
4. MacOS: Lucida Grande, Arial, Times Nev Roman, Tahoma
5. Lindsay: It depends on the distribution, but Lin Libertine, Lin Kobilonum and DejaVu Sans are good bets.
6. If some of the characters are not displayed correctly, you need to download a third-party IP font.
7. The purpose of the keyboard is to create a way to insert ISO-based phonetic transcription so that some of the hidden characters used in "small" phonetic transcription (such as ɦ or ʍ) are not Not included. If you need this level of detail, use a full ISO keyboard.
8. For help in transcribing, look for the Aryan table with IPA symbols, for example words and inputs (be sure to read the footnotes).

10. ɪ can be used to represent "weak" (as much as possible), which generally sounds like something between and ə.
11. ʊ can be used to represent the weak (as in education), which generally sounds like something between ʊ and ə.
12. t can be used to indicate where the "valve" is declared in English, English. For example, a letter may be overwritten / ˈletəʳ /.
13. ə can represent the ə (schva) option before literally combining like a button.
14. Phones, ɹ, ɚ, ɝ, ɫ and ɾ are not necessarily in phonetic transcription but are provided to those in need.
